Ashwini is responsible for designing and delivering the Amazon commercial and media strategy for Kao Professional brands in EMEA Region. The responsibility also extends to devising and supporting a balanced multi-channel consumer conversion journey in collaboration with commercial teams of local markets within the region and additionally collaborating with global marketing teams to drive retail media investments for Amazon. Her team is always on the lookout to adapt new technologies which will help them optimise, automate and scale the businesses. They carve out a percentage of their revenue goals to invest back solely in innovation projects; and they have new technology pitch competitions where the winning teams are rewarded with significant budget to implement their new technology. Ashwini is working on building an entire tech stack supporting the Amazon business at the core of it, with the plan to benefit omnichannel consumer journeys. The objective is to build more brand awareness, create a seamless path to conversion, build efficiencies in the digital media mix and overall build agility via data-driven decision making and execution.
